Newly Discovered Project

I know this is my second post for today, but I wanted to mention something I came across today. In my search for new, creative ideas on other blogs, I came across Allison's blog: "Stampin' When I Can" and her fabulous idea. Towards the end of some of her posts, she lists newly discovered websites and blogs that she's found recently. I didn't think much of it at first, but as I started clicking on the links I realized that she had found some amazing blogs from people living all over the world. I think this is such a great idea - especially for blogs just getting started (like mine). So....I've decided to copy her idea (giving credit where it's due) and provide you all with a list of blogs and sites that I have come across recently and have really enjoyed! I hope to make this sort of a weekly project...where I collect sites/blog addresses throughout the week and then share my favorites with all of you. Let me know what you think!

Here are a few that I came across this morning:

• Glittertastic - Cute, simple cards (with updates approximately once per week)
• Mojo Monday - A site with card and layout sketches (these are often challenges with prizes). I love this site because a new challenge is posted every Monday and viewers of the blog post their project responses beneath the challenge itself. So, even if you're not willing to participate in the challenge, you can enjoy the lovely creations that others have made. It's really quite inspiring!
• Ippity - A stamp company's website. They have some really cute stamp sets out, but their selection seems a bit minimal. However, I loved how easy it was to see the design team's creations using the site's products (their blogs are linked on the left sidebar). Four designers from Ippity really caught my eye: (1) Stephanie Muzzulin, (2) Lisa Arana, (3) Maria Gurnsey, and (4) Kelly Landers.

I know these are stamping/card-making/scrapbooking sites, but I will ALSO keep an eye out for other sites. I hope to include sites about knitting and crocheting, quilting and sewing,  cooking and baking, outdoorsy activities, photography, painting and drawing, couponing and saving money, shopping, vintage, and much more. Oh and let me know if you'd like me to keep an eye out for a particular type of site or blog. :)
